And Suddenly - The Cherry People (1968)


The Cherry People were a band formed in Washington D.C. in 1967. By 1968  they had a contract with Heritage Records who wanted them to make an album with a Bubblegum Pop sound they had a  much more hard rock sound live in concert . "And Suddenly" offered a sample of flowery sunshine Pop.





Humpty Dumpty - The Beagles (1967)

The Beagles was a Cartoon series that ran from 1966 - 1967.
The Beagles were different from "The Beatles" in that they were a duo rather than a quartet and both members were dogs, Stringer (The Tall One) played guitar and Tubby (Short Fat and wearing glasses) played stand-up bass. They released one album "Here Come The Beagles" in 1967.







Cinnamon - Derek (1968)
Derek was Singer/Songwriter Johnny Cymbal from Ochiltree Scotland, probably best remembered for His 1963 Record Mr.Bass Man.
John was lead vocalist on "Cinnamon" And used the alias "Derek" the name of his younger brother.
"Cinnamon" was later recorded by the king of Bubble-Gum Tommy Roe.
